In case you haven’t been paying attention to MTV, GQ, Yahoo, YouTube, or any other forms of media for the past four years: the Korean girl band 2NE1 is a cultural phenomenon. With 45 awards and over 84 nominations, there has to be something boosting 2NE1’s fame and success. Well, I’m going to tell you one thing 2NE1 has more than any other music artist or band around the world: style. Whether it’s an award show, a music video, a concert, a rehearsal, or a trip to the airport, 2NE1’s four stylish young women are rocking their outfits.

Instead of having stylists pick out their clothes all the time, these girls pick their own pieces to complement the tone for each song. For example, in 2NE1's music video It Hurts, the four Girls wear macabre garments in an array of textures and embellishments that embody the somber tone of their song. Park Bom, known for wearing short skirts and high heels, wears mostly embellished dresses throughout the video, while experimental CL wears exotic fur coats and thigh-high boots.
